Waikane ODT

Well Leo had his first one day trial today and my god was he amazing, We did a nice flowing dressage with 30% and with a faultless show jumping we were coming second after dressage and second after the show jumping, then the cross country i got him rolling ut really nicely and we just flew everyfence, trekhangers, ditches, sharks tooth one stride corners, no problems at all except for the water cantred through it but then he got a little fright at the little bank you jump out of haha, and so it counted as a refusal and then he lept out like a stag and we just aced the remaining course, over all i am soo very pleased aot of people commented on him today and im so very glad ive got this ride.

will let you no if i was placed will find out tuesday.

Western Hills Spring Show (wellington)

Another fantastic show Leo had flat classes in the morning and we were placed in all classes except one, and we one point off the reserve champion sash :(  was very happy as he has come such a long way in a short time.Leo then went on to do his first class which was one meter sj and we went a lovely double clear, we then went back later on to do the circuit which was also in ring one 1.00 -  1.10  and we had a very nice round wich i was happy with! Kurt also had his second outing and we placed 2nd in the 70cm and then ym fault as i was mentally in ring one crossed my tracks in the 80cm poor kurty! No pictures of Kurt as camera shut down haha i think i might need a new one!

thanks for the photos Kerri's friend!

Schooling at home

Kurt had a little ride today, he's been having light work so we could get some beef on him. he has come back into work super happy and keen for anything as he always has been!! Brookee also had a littkle ride over some tiny jumps so he could stretch his little legs !

Lesson Toni Gray ( Thompsons Equestrian Centre )

Had a great lesson and jumped some good heights, got some air over 1.30 oxers and was getting some practice on learing to chip in to the jumps. Great lesson with thanks to Toni!

Fielding 1* show jumping

Leo (Vizzani A.S) had a wonderfull show were he was clear in both his meter classes on saturday and into the jump off! then on sunday we had a 90cm table c and we were going for it and paid for it with a rail we were quick though!

Another great weekend, saldy camera was being silly.

Loud Shirt day (levin)

We had a great weekend, Leo getting a champion sash in his flat ( that we have worked on soo hard ) and also Brookee a little 12hh Purebred Welsh came second in the juniour games with Jessica Giles, she was very happy with him. Sadly there was no jumping this weekend but great acheivements were made!!

(sadly no photos)

Pukahu ( Hawkes Bay )

Another exciting weekend was just around the corner, a show i have always wanted to ride at. Just took Leo ( Vizzani A.S) along to do three Show jumping rounds and a show hunter round.  On saturday we had a 90cm sj and we had a green rail in the jump off, then we moved onto Show hunter and he did a lovely rythmic round, it was a shame noone was writing as i would of thought we would of had a good chance of placing, then on sunday we had two more show jumping rounds both 90cm we got into the jump off in the first round and had a rail because of a tight turn (my fault : /  ) and in the last round we had a rail, i think he was gettting a bit tired after his first W.E away from home. All up i was very pleased as there was a big atmosphere and he was soo good. Bring on the next show!

he was happy when he returned home to ahve a well deserved rest ! :)

Leo and kurts first show, (palmerston) Tielcy Park Winter series

Kurt and Leo both had their first outing at Tielcy Park. Me and Liz went up on saturday with a wonderfull practise we were ready for sunday!  Kurt (Aspley How bout that) had his first round of 60cm show jumping with me with me and we came 3rd, then Jess Giles did the 80cm and had one rail, and he was clear in the 90cm.  Leo (Vizzani A.S) went double clear in the 80cm, then we moved onto the 90 and double clear and then the meter and had the last rail, which was guttering but he was amazing, we had no expectations he just blew us away! Did not get any pictures of kurt just leo!
